You don’t have to know a man
to feel his last sunrise
as you watch them lay him naked
but for cover ups and lies
If he was selling his own headline
on the street tonight
he’d shout about a man who died
in someone else’s fight
Read how those above their law
pushed a man down to the floor
just before he died alone
for trying to get home.
